All were great and went out of their way to make sure that we caught limits and found some good size halibut.

What other kind of things are in it? There are two couples in our group; do we need two books of coupons? In the "Top Questions" section top right of this page , there's a topic on I ended up ordering both books, but sent the toursaver one back easily done for a quick refund. I'll use a few of the coupons in the NL book, and at 60 bucks it really doesn't take much to more than pay for itself.

One thing to keep in mind about ordering 2 books for 2 couples; a number of the smaller excursions, rafting, flightseeing, fishing, the types of things where only 4 or 6 people go on one trip the coupons do state that only 1 coupon can be used per trip, that is, if 2 people use a coupon they won't let 2 more on the same trip use one. It matters because it's myself and my wife and 2 daughters, so it would work out great for us if you could use 2 coupons. On the larger excursions, like the cruises and the train, it looks like we should be able to use 2 coupons and save more, so thats good.
It was an outstanding experience as everyone on the boat caught their limit. We also used their discount for camping at their RV park. I was just looking at Butt charters out of Homer. We fished with Afishhunt about a decade ago and only did OK, I was kind of planning on paying full price and going with an outfit out of Homer known to go farther out after bigger fish. Other than the one lbd'er, what was the avg size of the butts for the whole boat?

Also, was it just last year you used them? We went out with Afishunt in right after Labor Day. I think most caught were in the "chicken" range of between 15 and 25 lbs. David and I caught the individual limit of 2 each, which resulted in around 35 lbs of fillets and cheeks that were shipped home.
This is my travel journal that included a review of our experience with them: igougo. We stayed at the park as well, nice place. I spent a lot of charter days on the Kenai back in , and we did quite well on kings.
