Why would I want to visit Jamestown? What's the difference between the two sites? I've heard about the free car ferry. There is plenty of space around the venue and the Inner Harbor in general to leave your bike. As a courtesy to fellow visitors, we kindly ask you to lock your bike nearby before entering the festival venue, even if you are just strolling the outdoor area.
Needless to say, bikes are strictly not permitted inside the festival tent. Feel free to bring your dog! Please keep in mind, that the tent area gets pretty crowded on weekend days, which might be uncomfortable for your dog. Being located at his outdoor booth close to the promenade, he will await kids, adults and furry friends at all times the event is open! We've got plenty of things planned for the little ones - check our dedicated "Kid Friendly" section to learn more!
Christmas Village is a family friendly event, so make sure to bring the whole family down including the youngest in their strollers! Be aware, that the tent gets pretty crowded on weekend days, which might make it hard to navigate the strollers through the indoor area. Loosing something on a family trip is a bummer but it can happen. If not, leave your contact details to make sure we can contact you in case it turns up. A staff member will assist you in dealing with the police if necessary. Most vendors — but not all - accept credit cards. If you are running low on cash, an ATM is conveniently located next to the Info Booth inside the main festival tent.
Where to start? We have to admit, German cuisine was not made for vegetarians. But no worries, you will not go home hungry! Check our Food and Beverage vendor section to see the full scope of food which will be offered!
