If it's a rush of energy and adrenaline that you're looking for, then Kool Runnings is definitely the spot! My experience there was amazing and my friends and I had a blast!!! I love waterslides and the flush was out of this world. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the thrill of a good shake up. A definite thumbs up and I'd recommend this attraction to anyone! Since I had been overcharged and then only given two hours to enjoy the park on my first visit, I was given free tickets to return to see if there has been an improvement, and can definitely say that there has been.
When I went there, all the water facilities and slide areas were open, and there was even a dj who did a funny Michael Jackson dance off contest. There was more people there, but I would rather have people having fun, than to be among only half dozen at the park You go down this tube slide and end up in.. I went this time by myself, but never felt alone.
I had the company of a nice family that was there, as well as the attention and care of the lifeguards who went out of their way to make sure I had a pleasant experience. I wouldn't go again without taking a child, but I have to admit, going by myself did enable me to float around in the lazy river more than I otherwise would have, lol.
And what I found was kind of cool was when you got to the top of the stairs for the rides, the views were really awesome. You could see all the morass and the hills behind them, and then looking the other way, could see past the beach resorts to catch a glimpse of the sea. And that is where I went right when I was done at Kool Runnings, right back to the sea.

I enjoyed my second experience at Kool Runnings and would say that if they ever run that "twilight special" again for half price, just make sure that is what they actually charge you, and ask if they are going to stay open the full time. I was there from about 2pm to about pm, when people started trickling out I did too. It was a fun experience, but I personally prefer the sea, although it should be a real good experience for families with kids. A good family adventure I am however disappointed that the entry cost is dependent on height as opposed to being a child or adult.
My eight year old who because of his genes is above 4ft tall was forced to pay the enttry fee of an adult Its the only one on island and is definately worth every penny spent. I had the pleasure of visiting Decemebr 17 with my three kids and we were never bored, thanks to Roxanne and Nekeisha for a truly world class facility. Big up especially to the lifeguard located at the kids pool, I should have gotten his name.
He was truly attentive to every single kid in that area. It the first place I have gone with my kids and I truly felt I could go have fun and had the feeling they would be OK.
