Date of stay: June Information Reviews. Set in its own woodland the hotel provides visitors with comfortable rooms and an indoor spa and pool. The spacious rooms have a private bathroom, television, free Wi-Fi and facilities to make coffee and tea.
Guests can swim in the indoor pool and work out in the gym. Breakfast is either continental or full Irish breakfast.
Westport town, with its shops, restaurants and bars, is a two-minute drive away. Accessibility Accessible parking Wheelchair accessible. Positive Reviews Great Peaceful Location The hotel is in a tranquil, green setting, yet near enough to access Westport by car, bicycle or on foot Guests can use former railway lines, now part of the Greenway trail, to walk or cycle in safely. Good Food in Restaurant and Bar The bar food is excellent and reasonably priced The evening meals are also of a good quality, well presented and served efficiently The spacious dining room offers views of the wooded gardens.
Lovely Leisure Centre for Relaxing Guests find the spa a welcome place to return to after mountains hikes, horse riding or biking Sore muscles are eased by the massage therapists, or by soaking in the hot tub The staff in the spa and pool area are also very attentive and this whole section is immaculately clean.
Tired Rooms and Decor Sections of the hotel are rather old and could do with updating This includes some rooms which are a little worn, both in terms of interior decoration and also the furniture However, the rooms are being refurbished, so this issue is likely to be resolved in the future.
